Cookie information

Two separate decisions

The cookie choice controls optional analytics cookies only. A full opt-out stops all Matomo measurement. There is no additional popup for cookieless measurement.

Cookieless baseline measurement is enabled for this deployment. Without cookie permission, or after its withdrawal, pageviews and selected interactions are measured without analytics cookies unless you fully opt out or send Do Not Track.

Essential local storage

raphaelsaxer-cookie-consent stores your cookie choice, version and expiry in localStorage for twelve months. Missing, expired or invalid entries are not permission to use cookies.

raphaelsaxer-analytics-opt-out stores a full opt-out until it is withdrawn or browser data are cleared. It is independent of the cookie-choice version. These essential entries are not shared with aumivi.com. If storage is inaccessible, all measurement remains off as a precaution.

Optional Matomo cookies

The tracker may set cookies only after explicit permission. This implementation limits _pk_id to 365 days, _pk_ses to 30 minutes and _pk_ref, where used, to 180 days. Names also include the Matomo site ID and a technical domain identifier. Cookies actually set by the target instance must be checked before launch.

Cookie permission is applied from the local choice, not remembered through a persistent Matomo consent cookie. Matomo may use an essential blocking marker such as mtm_consent_removed when measurement permission is withdrawn. This is not an analytics cookie. Applicable Matomo analytics cookies are removed when cookie permission is withdrawn. Server records have separate retention rules.

What cookieless means

Without analytics cookies, their persistent visitor identifier is absent. Technical requests can still involve personal data, including an IP address at the transport layer. The website disables browser-feature detection and does not transmit arbitrary query parameters, external referrers or form contents. Server-side recognition and IP anonymisation require separate verification; no blanket anonymity claim is made.

Google Calendar and other websites

Google Calendar is linked externally, not embedded. Opening the link takes you away from this website. Google may use its own cookies and storage on its service. Your cookie choice here does not automatically apply to external websites.

Vimeo video

The Vimeo video loads only after an explicit click. This is independent of your Matomo choice or permission. Closing the dialog stops the embed; opening it again requires a new click. When loaded, Vimeo receives your IP address and technical data and may use cookies. Do Not Track is not a promise of zero cookies.

Change your choice

Cookie settings are always available in the footer. The controls below also let you switch off all measurement. Allowing measurement again only removes the full opt-out; analytics cookies remain off until separately permitted. Do Not Track continues to take precedence.
